Birthright citizenship became law right after the Civil War in 1868 with the ratification of the 14th Amendment to guarantee slaves the right to them and their children American citizenship.
President Trump felt the law was not intended to grant citizenship to woman from foreign countries who came here to America in their 8th or 9th month of pregnancy for the sole purpose of having their new born become a U.S. citizen to gain all the rights and privileges of an American.
The law is flawed in that there is a loophole that any pregnant woman who sets foot on American soil for one minute and gives birth, that baby is legally an American citizen and the parents will be able to become residence and citizens.
These baby’s are called “anchor babies”. As non-citizen parents through the child they can secure legal status. The law was challenged and brought in front of the Supreme Court just recently however the court in a 5 to 4 decision upheld its constitutionality.
This new born is now entitled to all the rights and privileges and the non-citizen parents can secure legal status in America and sponsor their non-citiizen family members for permanent residency. Hence new terminology:Birth right citizenship, anchor babys and chain migration.
President Trump believed that this law was being abused and was not intended for any woman who deliberately came here from another country to scam and abuse this privilege just to get her entire life paid for. Her lottery ticket is free and so are the benefits free and guaranteed. The formula is simple: Get pregnant,come to the United States, give birth at no charge and the rest of the benefits flow freely, quickly and automatically with no “skin in the game”.
The fact is the law was and is being abused at the expense of the American tax payer.The Supreme Court,left wingers, liberal politicians and socialists don’t get it or don’t want to get it.Our enemy’s love it.
There is a birthright business which has been going on for decades and is well organized. There are networks of birthright businesses that will charge a fee and in exchange they will guarantee your newborn citizenship as an American and all the free stuff that goes along with it. For $50,000 or more they will fly you in, put you up in a hotel or residence cover your food, medical care and anything in between.
Once your baby is born that child is automatically a United States citizen and is entitled to all the rights and benefits as all Americans. The parents can apply for legal statues and petition to bring in family members hence the word “chain migration” Literally a lottery ticket for the whole family.
Only one hitch many people from other countries are intent in abusing the law by scamming the system. Their intent is to get every red cent from Uncle Sam in the form of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, housing, clothing, food, education etc.
They can and do send money back home to their poverty stricken country to their families who become very rich over night. Then they are allowed to petition other members of their family to come here and they too feed off of American tax payers dollars. It’s called chain migration.
While Americans are going to work every day to pay their rent, buy food, take care of medical bills and pay taxes, the woman who come here pregnant just for free stuff can just stay at home and enjoy their new free life away from the poverty they came from and at the same time make their families back home wealthy too.
Besides the poor foreigners coming here scamming the system, there are foreign nationals and enemy governments that use this law for various reasons. Besides people getting free benefits and extracting themselves out of poverty, foreign governments are using it as a means to easily send spies and sleeper cells to America with no restriction on the length of time they are allowed to stay. China has for years sent its citizens here to bear children and get automatic citizen status enabling chain migration. Many are engaged in spying.
What if a jihadist from Iran, Iraq or Somalia who hates the “Big Satin” America and sends a pregnant woman to America just to gain the benefit of chain migration and eventually brings terrorism into the United States. It happens and is happening. She gives birth and goes home. Her child is educated in hating America from day one. (Remember the World Trade Center losses by Jihadist)
No need to wait for the child to grow up because they can request through chain migration the right to have the entire family come to America since the child was born in America. They can bring in entire jihadist families to kill Americans. That child and their families will have free and easy access to enter our country and do us harm and while doing so live here for free.
We have to vet new comers and not let them use America for free stuff. Birthright citizenship and chain-migration exposes America to possible terrorism allow them government benefits and take them out of poverty.
The law was meant to protect Black American liberated slaves and not invite anyone here for unchecked citizenship just because they were smart enough to figure out how to scam the system. The government never intended it to be an easy means to have pregnant woman procure free government benefits, and take them out of poverty.
Trumps adversaries say it’s racist. It is not racist to protect your country and vet people to see if they are not a threat and are fit to be here as well as to protect American tax payers from being robbed by scammers who found an opening in American law on how to get into the richest country in the world and get a piece of the pie without earning it.
The Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the 158 year old law. Therefore it’s time to change the law and bring us into the 21st century. Protect the pocketbooks of Americans many of whom are living from paycheck to paycheck. It’s time for Democrats and Republicans to come together, put politics aside, do the common sense thing and change the law.
Unfortunately many politicians aren’t always that smart, have no business background to help them make dollar and sense decisions and some are just hard core socialist that have a bleeding heart and love to give away other people’s money.
