Ashli Babbitt was murdered by the Government on January 6th 2021 during the Washington D.C. protest. But Don’t Tell That to Nancy!

On January 6, 2021, Ashli Babbitt was fatally shot and murdered during a wave of unarmed protesters marching around and into the United States Capitol building protesting the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election. President Trump said “March peacefully and patriotically,”. Most of the protesters walked around and did no damage. There were others that did damage to property and behaved recklessly. Ashli was part of a crowd of supporters of then U.S. President Donald Trump who breached the United States Capitol building in protest of the defeat of President Trump in the 2020 presidential election believing that the elections were tampered with mainly in the swing states.  Ashli served our country honorably for 12 years in the United States Air force.

As much as we have heard that many people died on January 6th 2021 that was fake news to stir up the public against President Donald J. Trump. Only one person died or should I say was murdered. That was Ashli Babbitt. The police officer who died the following day died of a heart attack. He did not die on January 6, the day of the protest. The stress of January 6 may have contributed to his heart attack but it was years of everyday living, eating, working, one’s life style and all the things everyone does as a daily routine that contributes to people’s heart attacks.

Ashli Babbitt and all the protesters were  unarmed. She was no threat to anyone but herself as she tried to enter the Capitol building through a narrow opening that had a broken window. She was like a cork in a bottle barely able to move through the opening. A Capitol policeman Lieutenant Michael Byrd who has had previous job issues fired at her while her back was to him as she was struggling to get through the narrow window opening. In my opinion officer Byrd violated police regulations protocol in the use of deadly force. Ashli could not see the officer and could barely move through the window opening. She was no threat to anyone but herself as she pushed her way through with broken glass around her body. Her back was to the Capitol police officer. He had no reason to use deadly force.

This Capitol police officer did not exercise “proper police firearms protocol” which means the only time you can use deadly force is when your life or the lives of others are in imminent danger. That’s the rule and if officer Byrd was properly trained and applied his knowledge and training he would not have pulled his gun and shot her in the back left shoulder without first saying: Stop, do not move, hands up, let me see your hands. Do you have a weapon? He should have used a less lethal form of force which he has on his body and uniform. There were other security personnel around Lieutenant Michael Byrd that did not pull their guns so this tells me that she was no threat to anyone’s life.

You can’t shoot anyone with their back to you unless your life or the lives of others are in imminent danger. It is my opinion as a trained ex handgun licensed civilian who held a handgun carry permit that this Capitol police officer Lieutenant Michael Byrd did not follow the rules, was negligent and murdered Ashli Babbitt. But somehow Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats honored officer Byrd , gave him a medal and said how he saved many lives. The only ones with weapons that day were the Capitol police. Nancy’s  perception was politically motivated.

If Ashleigh Babbitt was facing police officer Byrd, showed some sort of weapon and was menacing, aggressive or threatening him or anyone, than that officer or any one licensed to carry a gun or any individual who needed to protect themselves from a lethal attack has the right to protect their lives and the lives of others who were being threatened. This was not the case. It appears to be an overreaction against an unarmed non threatening woman.

I believe there was a cover up. Lieutenant Michael Byrd was treated like a hero. The Democrats said he saved many lives. In my opinion he should have been charged with a crime.

  • Has anyone noticed there was an attempt at revisionist history (much like narcissists do), and stunningly poor attempts to throw Trump under the rug with headlines like “Jan. 6 panel releases never-before-seen footage of Trump recording message to Capitol rioters”, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJuNHI2KP5w) when in fact that video has been available for years (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB8kjR4nYzk). These people have no sense of shame, no fear of repercussions, no guilt or conscience, no dignity, no empathy, no honor.

Stan, I respectfully disagree. Security was outnumbered 100 to one. In the past, legal avenues to dispute election results were available and used. Trump did not publicly promote such an avenue. I have lived by the “honor system” since my days at the Naval Academy. I expect all elected officials to be honorable. Semper Fidelis. USMC Veteran.

President Trump offered Nancy Pelosi and the Mayor of Washington D.C. 10,000 + National guard troops and they both turned him down. Trump was set up to fail. They turned down the help to make Trump look bad and propagandize what they themselves were guilty of .
Nancy Pelosi was caught on tape just recently admitting that she was responsible for the protestors not being controlled and not accepting more security. Guess who made the tape? Nancy’s daughter. Go to YouTube and see it. How are the socks?
